INTRODUCTION: Our AMA session today is with BossFighters, an innovative gaming show and the metaverse built as the unique asymmetric multiplayer game where a VR player takes the role of the powerful boss-monster, while PC players team up against it, battling for prestige, fame, and loot.

Host: 1. Please begin by giving us a brief Introduction of yourself and the team behind BossFighters.

Please write “done” once you complete your answer!

Vadim: My name is Vadim, I’m an experienced Studio Head, entrepreneur, software and game producer, CEO, and Creative Director at Boss Fighters.

I’ve been working in CG and game development for almost 10 years. I began my career
as a 3D artist, building up my skills over a decade, being in positions of VFX artist, 3D animator, 3D generalist, and product director. Eventually founded two own companies. Pixward Studios — is entirely dedicated to graphical assets outsourcing for games, commercials, and VFX. We’ve been working over 5 years in graphic production, working on AAA and indie titles and creating stuff with Unreal Engine.

The other company is a VR development studio, where we have created many VR business and educational applications. This is where my teams’ VR development background comes from.

To be more specific — our technical and weapons designer worked on STALKER and Metro series, our VR designer is a winner of 3 VR hackathons, the team of environment artists worked on AAA titles and also worked on VR games. Our Art director worked in Gameloft on the top projects of the studio….

Host: 2. Now, tell us About Bossfighters, Gameplay and its Unique Features,
Also tell us about the ‘Boss fighters club’

Vadim: BOSS FIGHTERS is an innovative gaming show and the metaverse built as the unique asymmetric multiplayer game where a VR player takes the role of the powerful boss-monster, while PC players team up against it, battling for prestige, fame, and NFT loot.

It is the first metaverse built as an action-packed and fun asymmetric VR vs PC gaming experience on the blockchain, never been seen before on the Web 3.0 space.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 gaming, VR and PC platforms and do it with the help of blockchain tech and the community of crypto enthusiasts and players.
Our project a truly unique game not only in Web3 but in gaming space in general
I think it’s easier to tell what do we have in common with other games than to tell what is different. The gameplay itself, VR versus Flat-screen asymmetric aspect, it is an action game, and it is a competitive game.

We solve multiple problems with our product:
- we offer unique and engaging game-play across VR and PC platforms;
- there are very few VR games that leverage play-to-earn and blockchain tech;
- action-based VR games with NFT and tokenized economy are almost non-existent;

The game is essentially free-to-play, so any gear can be purchased with in-game soft currency. However, players who wish to embrace the advantages of Solana blockchain technology are able to monetize their success by minting their rewards as NFTs, then using the in-game marketplace to sell them. Players can also use token staking to unlock advanced game modes and features. One of the features that staking unlocks is the tournament mode, where players compete for large token prize pools.

Boss Fighters Club is the generative collection of in-game 3D avatars for the upcoming Boss Fighters game
Each NFT represents a unique 3D character avatar, ready to enter the battle against the Boss in 2022.

Not only Boss Fighters Club NFTs are dope 3D avatars, but they also serve as the keys to unlock exclusive benefits, access top-tier game modes and rewards, future Boss Fighters DAO and even can participate in VR headset raffle!

Host: 3. Please give us detailed information about your Token and NFTs, how do we get these and how Do users begin the Game-play on BossFighters.

Vadim: Speaking of Boss Fighters Club NFTs

Boss Fighters Club is limited collection — there will be only 6500 items which is super small for the game we’re building.

Despite the game featuring cosmetic items as rewards, those will not be character avatars, winnable in basic game modes — so as the community and player base grows, so the demand for Boss Fighters Club NFTs will grow.

We packed a lot of value into these NFTs.

⚡️Become one of the renowned founders of the unique action VR vs PC Play-To-Earn game.
⚡️Owners get character avatars, in the upcoming Boss Fighters game, going early access on PC and VR platforms in 2022.
⚡️Owners can get free collectible NFTs as Boss Fighters metaverse expands.
⚡️Direct access to developers in the private Discord channel
⚡️Exclusive access to special tournaments with unique rewards and large token prize pools
⚡️Community royalties treasury access for NFT owners (Half of the secondary market sales will be redistributed amount NFT holders)
⚡️VR Headsets will be raffled among lucky owners to join the battle on the VR side.

There is 6500 total supply, mint price on pre-sale is 1.25 SOL and 1.5 SOL on public sale. Whitelist grants you one mint at 1.25 SOL.

Pre-sale starts: April 20
Public Sale: April 22nd
mint happens on SOLRAZR INO Launchpad

Lets talk about tokens
Overall we see 4 main avenues that users can go to monetize their playtime and rewards in Boss Fighters.

1) Play-to-Earn is pretty straightforward. You play the game, you win some rewards like gear or cosmetic items — then you mint them as NFTs, and you can trade them on a marketplace. There are also planned advanced modes like tournaments and league battles where teams compete for token prize pools. We want to restrict the token usage for some advanced modes — this way we can keep the free-to-play part on Steam and EGS safely and have web 3.0 features built-in

2) Create-to-earn is the Creator support program that we would like to introduce later. This encompasses lots of things like streaming, YouTubing, creating game assets like avatars and arenas, and we want to reward all of this, but this will take some time to implement. Once we build and polish the tools that we’re using right now for development, we might release them and the community can start utilizing them to contribute to the project development — this is what we want to reward.

3) Hold-To-Earn — these are features related to staking tokens to get different rewards. Those can be passive token yield, soft currency yield, gear, and cosmetic NFT airdrops.

4) Watch-To-Earn features like rooting for teams and players and utilizing Streaming Service API to take part in battle. This will also allow us to bring partnerships and create stead AD revenue stream, that spectators can share.

In BOSS FIGHTERS players can choose either to be a free-to-play user, using soft currency, or take a crypto route that speeds up progression and unlocks multiple benefits with the use of $BFT token.
Game features can be unlocked via staking into special pools. Here are some benefits players get by staking a token:
-soft currency passive income
-speeding up gear upgrade times (it takes a long time to upgrade high-level gear!)
-regular gear and cosmetic item airdrops
-minting discounts for upcoming NFT drops
-reduced marketplace fees
-unique skins and player customization options
-team features — ability to create and manage teams (designed for gaming guilds)
-tournament access — competitions with large token prize pools
-ranked mode access
-NFT lending options for teams (think gaming guilds)
-Watch-To-Earn, via Spectators Pass
-$BFT token yield

Host: 4. We see you have made some big Partnership Deals already, can you tell us a Bit about these? And would you be open to More Partnership deals?

Vadim: We are partnering with lots of NFT and crypto projects in the space. We also onboarded some top VCs to help us build sustainable tokenomics and Web3 Related features.
We have partnered with Metavest Capital, as investors and advisors. These guys help us immensely in designing token utility, game mechanics and they also got us connected with a host of gaming guilds.
We even put together a special proposal for the gaming guilds for them to get the most of our NFT mint.

On top of that, we have partnered with some top Solana NFT and gaming projects!
The list is incredible: Degenerate Ape Academy, Neo Tokyo ,Yaku Corp, BotBorgs, Pesky Penguins and the list goes on and on!

We are opened for more partnerships, we are still early in our fundraising

Host: 5. Can you tell us about your Project Phases and what stage on your road map you are on currently.
Also, can you share a Bit about the Security state of Bossfighters?

Vadim: We are testing playable builds of Boss Fighters and solidifying controls, combat mechanics, and other core features. There is also a lot of stuff happening in the background.
Basically the game has been in development for 9 months, long before we went public.
You will soon see lots of new features shown to the public, things like Boss arsenal and Fighters weapons and equipment. We also have something cool to show you after the mint!
The NFT public mint comes on April 22, then in May or early June we want to do an IDO and TGE, launching the BFT token. Right after that, we will open up staking pools, so players and investors can start staking for rewards. Shortly after that, we will transition to the early adopters’ closed alpha launch. We want you to play with your character avatars ASAP after the TGE, but it’s still a few months to pass before that.

By the end of 2022 Boss Fighters will feature a marketplace, multiple boss types, NFT item rewards, several staking features and we’re going to release several NFT collections related to Boss Fighters metaverse, which are going to have in-game and off-game utility!

We also want to make the game available for mobile devices later on, obviously targeting Oculus Quest 2 and Android devices. No date for that yet, though.
All Solana programs will be audited, this information will be shared with the public. We do have a strong tech team and advisors.

TWITTER QUESTIONS :

1. The NFTs on your platform are the tool of everything, they can be used for trading, battle and gaming but how versatile they can be? is there a way to improve the NFTs with extra items and get better stats and price or fractionalize them for trading?

Question by @Five7555

Vadim: Great question
There are 3 major kinds of game assets in Boss Fighters: Gear, Skins, and Avatars.

GEAR
These are various weapons, explosives, gadgets for both Fighters and Bosses — those are available to any player, and purchasable with in-game currency. The same goes for gear upgrades.

SKINS
General term for various cosmetics, such as gear skins, custom animations, visual and audio effects, etc. Some skins are available via vendors, but the main path to obtaining skins is through winning battles. The harder you play, the higher your rank is — the rarest items you get.

AVATARS
Special unique utility NFTs representing game characters. Despite the game featuring cosmetic items as rewards, those will not be character avatars, winnable in generic games.
The only way to have a very special appearance in the arena is to own an avatar utility NFT.

Despite the fact that we are crypto enthusiasts, we don’t expect everyone to share our passion so we are not going to force our community to go full crypto.
This implies that anyone will be able to play BOSS FIGHTERS just as they would play other games they are used to.
Basically, any essential piece of Gear in the game is available for in-game soft currency which is off blockchain and does not require a player to join the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

However, for those players how with to embrace crypto — we have a set of options how they can monetize their game time and success.
items can be minted as NFT (non-fungible token) and traded on the marketplace.
Some NFTs grant you access to other game modes.
Some NFTs like upgrades require a lot of time to create, which naturally drives their value up

2. Each project has interesting stories before it is created. So can you tell people about the story that gave you the motivation to build and develop a great project like yours?

Question by @FinleyLyons3

Vadim: With pleasure
I’ve been dreaming about creating a VR game since we started our own VR development company 5 years ago. For several years I’ve been working on the concept — I knew it should be an action multiplayer game with a full-body motion for the VR player.

When COVID struck and lockdown began I had a chance to play lots of VR games at home — I found several asymmetric VR games and I was captivated by the concept.

Last year with the advent of play-to-earn games we saw an opportunity to bring something new to the space and that’s how the “Boss Fighters” project was born.

Recently we saw a lot of play-to-earn games go live and flop because they didn’t have any actual gameplay. Most of them tried to replicate “Axie Infiniti” formula and did not offer any engaging gameplay.

This is what we challenge with Boss Fighters — we stand for the “gameplay first approach” and believe that NFT games and the overall ownership aspect will become popular among the general gaming community only when players start caring for the game they play. Not because they can earn cash but because they like the game in the first place.

3. I understand that BossFightersVR is a game that combines P2E, NFT, Metaverse. Can you explain how you would incorporate these elements into your game? What kind of experience will players get when playing BossFightersVR? How will they interact with each other?

Question by @Mikexzite

Vadim: Another great question
We strongly believe that the greatest attractor to VR and metaverse is going to be exciting gaming, visual and emotional experiences.

We want to create Boss Fighters’ gameplay mechanics, visuals, and marketing campaigns as a fun show, that is a spectacle in itself, so people will start sharing footage on social media, twitch, tik-tok and others. We want to bring onboard streamers and YouTubers to showcase the game and maybe even comment on some tournament battles later on!

This a game that matches team of PC players against the boss and there will be multiple social features in the game — like teams, guilds and other stuff like that

There’s really no other project like this in the NFT space. We’re building a very special game which have never been seen in web 3 and NFT space before.

4. Would there be an opportunity to kyc to prevent bots from buying this nfts and dumping on potential investors who just hold a little number

Question by @Calebkure4

Vadim: Actually, the pre-sale for KYCs users is already opened on Solrazr. You need to stake tokens to mine for the allocation and you can get up to 5 NFTs on pre-sale, depending on the amount of tokens you staked.

This launchpad requires KYC.

LIVE AMA QUESTIONS :

Q1. I saw the term ‘Watch-To-Earn’ on your website and white paper. What does it mean? Can you tell us more about how spectators earn money by simply watching the battles?

Question by @M_Ackermann

Vadim: This one is too good to pass.
Let me answer
Watch-To-Earn is a special one. The core idea behind watch-to-earn is to reward spectators and therefore increase our community…
BOSS FIGHTERS’ gameplay mechanics and visuals are designed in a way to create a cohesive and fun gaming experience, which is a spectacle in itself, so people will start sharing footage on social media, twitch, tik-tok and other social media.

hese are features that are considered right now to become part of watch-to-earn
- advertising and renting screens on the arena to get part of AD revenues
- ownership of battle arenas in the form of NFTs to get a percentage of rewards
- rooting for players and teams in tournaments using tokens to get a cut of a prize pool
- combat challenges and quest players can perform during matches, which spectators can bet on with tokens
- utilizing Twitch API unlocked with a “spectators pass” to interfere in battle in special game modes

This means that spectators will be able to spend tokens to influence the outcome of matches as well (think “hunger games” where users can spend tokens to airdrop their favorite players a weapon or ability)

Access to Watch-To-Earn is unlocked through a Spectators Pass — a special role provided with NFT ownership or staking tokens to a special pool

Q2. How many core developers does your team have? are you going to increase your manpower or do you think its already enough?

Question by @Cristal901

Vadim: Our core team is 25+ talented professionals and counting! We are quickly expanding our production, PR, and marketing teams to hit all roadmap goals.
